PLA Matte

Pros: Eco-friendly, nice matte surface finish

Cons: Can become brittle over time, low heat tolerance

Best for: Prototypes, decorative items, beginner or non-functional prints

PLA+

Pros: Tougher and more impact-resistant than standard PLA

Cons: Can become brittle over time, low heat tolerance, shiny surface finish

Best for: Functional prototypes or parts needing extra strength over PLA Matte

PETG

Pros: Durable, somewhat flexible, better heat and chemical resistance

Cons: Shiny, can be more difficult to post process

Best for: Everyday functional parts or items exposed to mild temps or outdoors

PETG Carbon Fiber

Pros: Stiffer than standard PETG, nice matte surface finish

Cons: Fibers may irritate skin with frequent contact

Best for: Functional parts needing higher strength, tools or components

TPU

Pros: Extremely flexible (like rubber), durable against wear and impacts

Cons: Challenging to print, not suited for rigid or detailed models

Best for: Flexible items such as phone cases, seals, gaskets, or wearables

ABS

Pros: High impact resistance and toughness, good heat tolerance

Cons: Can crack over time, shiny finish

Best for: Durable functional parts for indoors or outdoors (away from sun)
