SLA, SLM & SLS printing
Resin, metal and nylon parts, quoted per project, usually ready in 1 to 2 weeks. Message us and we take it from there.
Some parts ask for more than filament. SLA resin gives you smooth, highly detailed models. SLM gives you parts in real metal. SLS nylon gives you strong parts that bend without snapping. All three are available through Fox & Train on request, with the same handover, delivery and terms as the rest of our work.

Three processes
Not sure which one fits? Send the model and we will advise.
SLA resin
Smooth surfaces, sharp detail.
- Display models, miniatures and figurines
- Fine detail and thin, crisp features
- Parts you want to paint or show off
Resin parts are stiffer and more brittle than filament.
SLM metal
Real metal, fused by laser.
- End-use metal parts, brackets and jigs
- Steel, aluminium, titanium and copper alloys
- Shapes that are hard to machine
Metal costs more and takes longer than resin or nylon. Ask us early so we can plan the lead time.
SLS nylon
Tough, functional, no support marks.
- Working parts, clips, housings and brackets
- Living hinges and thin walls that must flex
- Small batches of the same part
Nylon comes out with a fine matte finish.

Good to know
Read this before you message us.
Quoted per job
SLA, SLM and SLS are priced per job, not at our filament rates. The instant quote tool covers filament (FDM) printing only.
Allow 1 to 2 weeks
These jobs take longer than a filament print. Plan for about 1 to 2 weeks from an approved quote to handover. Metal can take longer on large parts. Tell us your deadline early and we will tell you if it fits.
Finishing on request
Painting, colour matching, dyeing, polishing, anodising and bead blasting can be added to the quote.
Other processes
Need full colour, casting or a material that is not on this page? Ask us. If it can be done, we will price it for you.
Ready when you are
Send the file, the quantity and your deadline.
Looking for filament prints instead? Use the instant quote for an immediate price.
SLA, SLM and SLS parts are produced for us by a partner workshop, not in house.
